Our story began in 1966...

The Atlantic Society of the Deaf (ACSD)

is a non-profit organization dedicated to serving the local Deaf community in the Southern New Jersey region, specifically the Atlantic Counties.

Our mission is to enhance the quality of life for Deaf and Hard of Hearing individuals by promoting social interaction and providing support and resources.
 

At ACSD, we believe that everyone deserves access to social events and activities, regardless of their hearing ability.

We work tirelessly to create a welcoming and inclusive environment where Deaf and Hard of Hearing individuals can come together to socialize, learn, and have fun.
 

Our organization hosts and sponsors a wide variety of events throughout the year, including picnics, holiday parties, and game nights.
 

ACSD is run entirely by volunteers who are passionate about serving the Deaf community.

We are always looking for new volunteers to join us in our mission. Whether you are Deaf, Hard of Hearing, or hearing, if you share our passion for supporting and empowering the Deaf community, we welcome you to get involved!
